Tapash and I have always loved Sunday brunches. I am a late riser so breakfast outside is pretty much a nonevent for us. That leaves brunches – get togethers at a friends’ place, music, lots of food, some bubbly and cocktails, conversations – something that could last till the sun downer at times. It is the best kind of relaxing and unwinding after a week and weekend of madness.

In recent times, the concept of brunches in restaurants have stepped up to become an elaborate affair. Unlimited spreads and drinks, live stations, music performances, children’s play area and entertainment, and more. The ITC Gardenia’s Sunday Brunch has always been on my list. And when Simonti invited a bunch of us over for an experience, it was the perfect avenue for heading out for a nice unwinding brunch with friends. But the Sunday Brunch at ITC Gardenia is more than just a brunch. It is a culinary celebration in its own right, it comes alive through the varied never-ending gourmet food on offer.

There’s nothing better than topping off a great weekend with the best spread, from the all-day dining restaurant – Cubbon Pavilion to the Japanese Restaurant & Bar – Edo and the alfresco seating at the beautiful Lotus Pavilion, all for the price of one. And these are just the venues. We were truly pampered for choice; personally, I loved the selection of spread at Edo. Authentic Sushi, Robatayaki and Tempura – and all unlimited!

The Last Word

The abundance of live interactive counters – kebabs, grills, bibimbap, tempura, Bombay dosas – is the best thing. Enough options perfect for big groups, ensuring there’s choice for everyone! So a stunning selection of spirits & beverages pretty much set the happy tone, and between music and conversations – our first brunch of 2019 pretty much set a bar very high! The #GrandGardeniaBrunch is guaranteed to satiate the foodie in you. This is undoubtedly most expansive and delicious brunch in the city- only at #ITCGardenia. This is available on Sundays (1-4pm) at ITC Gardenia. The pricing for the brunch starts at 2450 + taxes including the non-alcoholic selection of beverages, 3250 + taxes including alcoholic beverages and 4250 + taxes for the champagne brunch.
