And as a diner and food enthusiast, I am so excited. This is like an EOSS, but for food – and there are some amazing restaurants lined up. So, basics first.

The offer is available on buffet, drinks, food, and includes top standalone restaurants, 5 Star hotel restaurants across India. And it’s accessible with a purchase of coupon per person starting at Rs.25 and goes up to Rs.100. Things to remember though – there are limited number of coupons per restaurant per time slot.
In Bangalore, there’s a pretty awesome selection of restaurants at Eat Out Festival – and I was feeling hungry just browsing through the list. And I am sharing my top picks here – so well, you guys can take cue, or let me know if you found something awesome as well. September isn’t a month to diet anyway!
Social
A great haunt to get together with friends – be it catching up for breakfast or drinks. Great service, and lovely spaces at their renovated Church Street ARTlet or Koramangala Social with the gorgeous rooftop. I love the food there – pick from Social Sharing Plates or Substantials, there’s something for any time of the day. My favorites here – well for years now – are Keema Pav, China Box, BBQ Board and Gun Powder Calamari. But let’s not forget the legendary cocktails – especially their 500 ml and 1Litre of Long Island Iced Teas. A perfect time out is always at Social!
Sly Granny
Among newer places in the city, Sly Granny is a place I love going to. The different themed places you can decide to hang out at, the mood and vibe they bring – are so versatile! Think of a brunch in granny’s dining room with Arnold Schwarzenegger and pineapple wall paper, drinks at a quiet little speakeasy hidden away or just unwind on the rooftop in a cozy little corner set up with quirky title books. The food menu is interesting, inspired even. Dishes I would recommend are Pastrami Tacos, Liver Pate, Roast Lamb, Bolognaise and Grilled Fig! The signature cocktails are great too. I am definitely going to head to this place for the EazyDiner Eat Out Festival – they have a 50% off on Food bill!
JW Kitchen
Located in the heart of the city, JW Kitchen is one of the most popular haunts for weekday lunches and Sunday brunches. The restaurant has an expansive global menu on the buffet spread with options in Indian, Italian, French, Asian and more, as well as a large selection of live counters. The JW Marriott Hotel ensures a luxurious experience, and well curated food festivals keep the spread interesting. And what you absolutely can’t miss – is the magnificent line up of desserts, well balanced between Indian and western sweet treats. Head there for a delightfully lazy long meal, and the Eat Out Fest offers flat 50% off Buffet!
Olive Beach
Definitely a favorite in the romantic restaurants category – Olive Beach brings together a refreshing mix of casual elegance. Walk through a charming villa to an alfresco bar – it has a beautiful and intimate setting. The menu at Olive is designed with seasonal ingredients and fresh produce, and the focus remains on Mediterranean food, albeit with palate-pleasing innovation. The signature cocktails are delicious and potent too. The Sunday brunches hosted at Olive is chic and different – a good variety for vegetarians and meat lovers. Strongly recommend for that special date that you’re planning.
Shizusan
Inspired by the 18th-century shophouse culture, Shizusan is a relatively recent entrant into the Bangalore food scene. The place is neatly done – chic décor indoors, that gives way to the open-air bar of the restaurant. The carefully designed menu takes you on an Asian culinary trail. I love the sushi and baos here – and there is a LOT to choose from. The classic curries are quite impressive too – so Thai, Rendang or Massaman are not going to disappoint you. Oh, and the milo cocktail definitely takes the cake!
Fava
A redefined a la carte menu with a lot of interesting culinary surprises, the breezy view of the UB City amphi-theatre, trendy and chic interiors would be my quick take on Fava. The restaurant has been around for a while, but various little and big things make it distinct and keep it that way! So take your pick from the cryo cocktails, or the delicious fresh salads – like Chermoula with Grilled Prawns, Valombrossa Burrata – you’re not going to be disappointed. The Eat Out Festival has 50% off on beverages in both Fava and Fava Bistro.
The Last Word
There are a lot of amazing restaurants in Bangalore that are part of the Eat Out Festival powered by EazyDiner. I picked the above places mainly based on where I frequent currently. The festival also has some of my all-time favorite haunts like TGI Fridays, Tao Terraces, Smokehouse Deli, Ministry of Food, MoMo Cafe, Rock Salt, Oh Calcutta, Ciclo – I could go on! But you guys should really check out the EazyDiner app/website and grab these awesome deals, if you like going out and eating out like I do. This offer is available for whole of September, but limited coupons per restaurant and time – so plan away!
