We have visited Kava quite a few times since it opened up. Well mainly because of the proximity. Not just near the IT hub, Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott are pretty much smack in the middle of it. So, getting to the hotels is quite convenient for those in the area. Kava is the restaurant and coffee shop at Fairfield by Marriott. It is setup up in a nice big area at the lobby level, with a lot of natural light, bright furniture – overall a chic decor.
Kava has buffet options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Wednesdays, they have a themed spread for lunch called Aao Khao Galli that explores the various regions of India and their local delights. So, you could find jalebis, kottu paratha, bene dosas, chaats, rolls, stir fries and so much more. It is quite enjoyable, and the live counters keep dishing out some yummy selections. And despite this being a buffet, each dish is distinct. And incorporates the taste and flavor of the street food quite well.
We recently did a staycation at the Fairfield. And were quite pleasantly surprised with the comprehensive spread during breakfast as well. Ample choices of fresh bakes, Indian, Continental and American breakfasts, salads, live counters for eggs, dosas, paranthas – quite impressive. Chef Sudhir, Chef Ashwin and their team are constantly innovating with the food and spread in the restaurants of these two hotels, to ensure in house guests and diners have a balanced variety and lot of choices.
The Last Word
The pricing in Kava is quite affordable, and they have offers for Zomato Gold as well. The spread usually has a good balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It’s a convenient choice for a quick lunch, and big enough place for team lunches or dinners. And the best part is the service is so nice and thoughtful.
