Glenfiddich, awarded for its passion towards innovation, pushes the boundaries of convention further by launching Cocktails Reimagined– a selection of exotic cocktails with the finest ingredients painstakingly handpicked from diverse parts of India. Re-defining the rules of traditional cocktail making, the cocktails have been created with the Glenfiddich 12-, 15-, 18- and 21-year old single malt.

And last week, we were invited for this one of a kind tasting of these signature creations at Olive Beach. The 18 YO and 21 YO cocktail creations were demonstrated by Yangdup Lama – one of India’s best mixologists.

Premium Kashmiri Walnuts, sourced and handpicked from the heartlands of India complement the nuttiness of our 15-Year-Old Expression. The most premium bay leaf from Assam and exquisite cinnamon from Kerala combine to make a cordial that gives the World’s Most Awarded single malt, the Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old a rightful, full-bodied, spicy finish. The Gung Giri estate’s premium coffee grown at an altitude of about 1100 meters adds to the fruit-forward notes of the Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old with its tangerine sweetness and intense aromas.

And the exquisite cocktails have been created with the finest of ingredients that have never been explored in creating a cocktail before. The Silver Tips Full-moon Tea that is plucked only on one full-moon night every year, just for a minute short of 3 hours beautifully enhances the peppery finish of the Glenfiddich 21-Year-Old. The Castleton Muscatel second flush, popularly known as the Champagne of Teas is a result of the finest Chinese saplings planted 125 years ago, and is the perfect element to enhance the sherry character of the Glenfiddich 18-Year-Old.

As it sets out to push the boundaries of convention in the category that it pioneers. Yangdup Lama, India’s best-known mixologist, was instrumental in skillfully hand-crafting the cocktails with Glenfiddich. The cocktails will be available across premium bars and restaurants in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The Glenfiddich 21 Year Old cocktail will only be available at select outlets. And it will be served at a premium price point of INR 20,000.
