In the recent times, one of the best well priced buffet spreads I have come across has been at Flechazo. And no, it’s not just about the number of dishes on the menu, or the service, but also the food festivals they run, specials they create – constantly trying to bring something new to its patrons. We have been to the Marathalli outlet quite a few times, from work as well as with family. And completely enjoyed the experience. Flechazo, Whitefield is the new outlet in the city, that’s a much bigger space than its first edition. On Labor Day, anticipating less traffic, we headed out there to experience the Food Union festival that was then running at Flechazo.
The drive was pretty smooth, and we reached the place with no hassle. Parked and we reached up to the waiting area. Our reservation was confirmed, and we walked right in, to see interiors heavily inspired by the Avengers. Cut outs and photo ops of Hulk Smasher was at the entrance, and we couldn’t resist! The place is very big, and several live counters are set up to keep things interesting. The first one is the conveyer belt for bite sized starters like sushi, chaats and tapas. There’s a pizza area, where people can go in, and make their own pizzas under the supervision of a chef. This is similar to the Marathalli outlet, and seemed to be a hit here as well. A pasta counter has been set up here as well – that’s pretty neat. Dim Sums had a section, and stone ice cream too. So basically, everything we can think of!
Most of the appetizers are served on the table, and there’s an abundance of options from paneer tikka, mutton sheekh kebab, chicken drumsticks, grilled pineapple and so so much more. The Food Union festival saw dishes from all over the globe featured on the menu like Jerk Chicken Wings, Chicken Shawarma Pita Pockets, Mac n Cheese Spring Roll, Dragon Chicken 65 etc. And the slow cooked rabbit deserves a special mention! And unlike a lot of buffet places that mainly focus on starters, but the main course is not as good, Flechazo manages an all rounded attention into the mains with special emphasis on desserts.
Coastal Crab Curry, Dum Biriyani, Thai Noodles, Asian gravies were some of the dishes we tried. It is honestly not possible to eat everything on the menu, even if it’s just a bite each! I barely had place for dinner, though the guys did their best. Baked Gulab Jamun, Mango Pannacotta with Rabri, Honey Dates Mousse – I could go on, Flechazo, Whitefield has aced the spread. Some chocolate ice cream was my encore and tada – we were done! A long, heavy meal indeed.
The Last Word
Flechazo, Whitefield currently serves no liquor served, but the mocktails are quite enjoyable. The Buffet price includes all of this on the spread. The new outlet has good introductory prices and offers, including corporate packages, options with Zomato Gold (Use code DEBOLI for discount on Zomato Gold) and more. The spread itself is impressive, and the bigger area makes the dining experience more comfortable. Accessible easily from Whitefield near the KTPO arena. Great for team outings, group lunches, and family meals!
