Eat fresh has been making waves in different part of the city as a food start up that’s got the customer’s taste and delivery value in mind. They are rapidly expanding in Bangalore, almost covering the main work areas of the city. My ex boss in Electronic City was often speaking quite highly of Eatfresh, and that led me to order in to work one day.
That day’s menu had quite a lot of interesting options and I zero-ed in on their Chicken Vindaloo and Ghee rice, and the Dutch Truffle Cake. Food got delivered to work promptly on time, perhaps a little before. The packaging is neat and sturdy. That’s always a good first impression if you ask me. No one likes to receive a leaky or soaked food order. The food itself was neatly arranged, portions were quite good. The Chicken Vindaloo was delicious! Hot, spicy, and wonderful with the Ghee Rice, though not necessarily the most authentic. The rice was long, long grained, a good meal. The Dutch Truffle Pastry was beautiful, rich and the right bit of gooey, soft cream and chocolate. My colleagues and I loved it!
But that’s not the only time I ordered from Eatfresh, it was the first of many times. I remember the Punjabi Chicken with Steamed Rice was another meal from Eatfresh – again consistent in quality from all aspects. The neat packaging, on time delivery, sufficient quantity and taste – supported by the quality – led me to continue ordering from them – this is the kind of food I like. A recent meal was the Butter Chicken with Dry Fruit Pulao, did I mention Tapash really liked Eatfresh too? So a lazy, rainy day last weekend – he ordered in again – and our experience was good again. And I realized that I am writing this today because there’s nothing more a customer, especially a hungry one, likes more than good standard to be maintained.
But it can’t be all good, right? Well, let’s see. The upsides: their website shows a comprehensive list of ingredients, detailed description of the dishes, nutritional value and even information about the chef! Quality of food is good. Rotational menu. The downsides: Sometimes they run out of a specific dish due to demand. Will I recommend it? Yes, because the kind of service and quality they offer, it definitely deserves to be experienced.
