As the heavy rain slows down in Bangalore, and we start seeing some sun, the city gingerly starts venturing out again, as do we. One of the relatively new places on the block is the Big Pitcher Sarjapur Road. I say relatively new, because the place opened up a couple years back, and faced the challenges with the pandemic. Now it is open in full capacity, and with a bang, shall we say! And we went by to check out the place. It’s a huge sprawling red property, just off the main road. Multi-level with different themes, seating areas and vibes. Works great for lunch with colleagues, an evening out with friends or a barbecue with family. The best thing about a place like this? There’s really something for everyone!
Bangalore and its love for beer is unparalleled, and it’s a city of cerevisaphile and Big Pitcher has beers covered very well! Their mantra is “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Well we can’t argue with that can we! They have a host of different freshly brewed craft beers on tap. Including Kingslayer – the dark wheat and Sarava – a Brazilian wit, both with very interesting and sharp flavor profiles. But their gorgeous bar has a lot more to offer as well, speak to Roshan, their head mixologist and you’ll be presented with creative and potent concoctions, cocktails that brings taste and drama together!
Big Pitcher Sarjapur Road is already popular for team lunches and outings, given the versatile menu and great pricing. They have both a la carte and buffet for lunches. There’s also barbecue grill buffet, which is fun in a group, and really quite enjoyable. Their selection of pizzas and continental offerings is pretty nice as well. For quick meals, they also have the BP Plates, essentially thalis with various vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The thali includes biryani, a starter, a gravy, dal and salad, and is really quite sumptuous. The pricing ranges from 349 to 549.
The Last Word
Big Pitcher Sarjapur Road brings a host of different experiences under one roof, and that’s quite a big roof I might add! It’s a great option for groups looking to have fun, as there are loads of options in food and beverage. They also have a rooftop place called Star Lounge, that’s perfect to enjoy the city’s usually great weather. Folks in the area, and even nearby places like Bellandur, HSR Layout find it a good hang out, as there aren’t many other places that provide quite this kind of variety. That’s definitely a big reason to hang out at Big Pitcher Sarjapur Road. The staff is another great reason – from the bartenders, chef and wait staff – they ensure top notch and attentive service. The place gets a thumbs up from me!
Cheers!
