JW Marriott’s Alba is one of our favorite haunts for good Italian food in the city. The beautiful interiors, amazing collection of wines and impeccable service – have been consistent in this restaurant of JW Marriott for the past years. We have enjoyed their brunches overlooking Cubbon Park, various chef tastings and more. And the experience has only always gotten better. So last weekend when we were invited to Alba for a new promotion they are running, there was really no second thought to it. This menu features unlimited pizzas and pastas during lunch time from Monday through Saturday.

Some of the classic Italian pizzas are part of this line up like Quattro Formaggi, Primavera, Pepperoni.  These pizzas were generously sized, and fresh from the wood fire oven. Some of the specialty pizzas like Frutti Di Mare – sea food based pizza are also in this promotion of unlimited pizzas. The meal also features a salad to begin with. And we started with Alba’s favorite Burrata with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and basil topped with olive oil. Simple and delicious. We started with a couple of signature pizzas like their classic pollo and diavola. The chicken roasted pizza topped with parmesan and sun-dried tomatoes was delicious, just the right bit of crust and cheese. The Diavola was a loaded spicy salami pizza with mozzarella and tomato, again really good.

I was rather looking forward to the pasta line up. And I selected the Triangolini Di Pollo – ravioli stuffed with chicken in creamy mushroom sauce. The menu also had Linguine Aglio and a few other pastas to select from. I loved the ravioli, though the others were good as well! Oh, and as is customary, we ended our meal with their delicious (best in the city) Tiramisu.

The Last Word

The meal was wholesome, and the enchanting interiors of Alba, JW Marriott offered the perfect experience as always. Priced at 1100 plus taxes, this is indeed a steal. The menu offers an appetizing variety. This is available Monday to Saturday from 12:30pm to 3pm for unlimited pizzas and homemade pastas. Go check it out to satiate that Italian food craving!
